What does Assaí Atacadista tell AI shopping agents?

Couldn't check Assaí Atacadista (assai.com.br) is a big retailer we track, listed under General retail in Brazil. In ShopBot Index's crawl of 2026-10-26, we couldn't check whether it publishes a UCP profile: every request was refused or failed. That is not the same as no profile.

What this means. Every website we tried refused our request, timed out or disallowed it in robots.txt. We never try to get around that, so we don't know whether it publishes a profile. It is excluded from adoption rates.

Supporting signals

Public signals we checked on 2026-10-26, besides the UCP profile. They show what the store publishes for AI agents; none of them says whether a particular AI agent can or can't buy here. What each signal means.

Signal	Result	Details
UCP profile	Couldn't check	Couldn't check: our request for the profile was refused or failed.
Agent tools (MCP)	Not checked	Not checked this week.
AI rules (robots.txt)	Not checked	We couldn't read a robots.txt for this site.
AI guidance files	Not checked	Not checked: our requests for these files were refused or failed.
Product data	Not checked	Not checked: we couldn't reach a product page.

Note: this site's bot protection refused our identified crawler, so some of these signals couldn't be checked. That says nothing about whether shoppers or AI agents can use the site.
